Choose the Color to Set the Mood
Thursday Pools Color Options
Your pool’s interior color determines the water color, which sets the tone for everything around it. The water color is also influenced by tile, surrounding landscaping, depth, and how much direct sunlight your yard gets throughout the day. Lighter pool surfaces have a higher light reflection value and enhance LED lights and depth perception while minimizing the appearance of water-line buildup. All colors can suffer damage if the water chemistry is not within range at all times.

Pool Cover Options
A pool cover is one of the most practical investments you can make alongside your pool. The right cover keeps debris out, retains heat, reduces chemical use, and adds a critical layer of safety when the pool is not in use.

Automatic Pool Cover
With the push of a button, an automatic pool cover retracts or deploys in under a minute. That convenience means the pool is covered every time it is not in use. Automatic covers also retain heat, reduce chemical loss through evaporation, and extend your swim season on both ends.

Safety Pool Cover
A non-automatic safety cover is a secure, anchored barrier that protects the pool when it is closed for the season or not in use for extended periods. Safety covers are rated to support significant weight, providing protection against accidental access by children and pets. They also keep debris out through the off-season.

Common Questions About Pool Features & Options
Can I add a pool slide to any fiberglass pool?
Some fiberglass pool models are compatible with slides and some are not. If a slide is something you want, let us know during your consultation and we will tell you which models in our lineup are a good fit for your project. We will not recommend a slide for a pool that cannot support it safely.
How much does an automatic pool cover cost?
Automatic pool covers for inground pools typically run $14,000 to $18,000 installed in the Pittsburgh area, depending on pool size and the cover system selected. That cost includes the cover, the housing, and installation. In our experience, most homeowners find the investment worthwhile given the safety benefits, heat retention, and reduction in chemical use and cleaning time.
What pool automation systems do you install?
We install Pentair equipment on all of our pools. Pentair automation lets you control your pump, filter, lighting, and water features from your phone. We recommend Pentair because parts are widely available in the Pittsburgh area and warranty support is responsive.
Serving Pittsburgh and the Surrounding Region
We install fiberglass pools throughout Greater Pittsburgh, including Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, and Butler counties. We also serve communities in Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia.
